Aviva Community Fund
We sadly did not manage to get enough votes to qualify for funding from this fund, but this is a problem of being a small rural community against the larger projects
Plans have been produced and we are meeting with the architect to discuss these and then produce cost estimates, in order that we can look for funding

We are currently embarking on an exciting project to renovate the Church Rooms. This building will be celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2016 and Mr Denis Tuttle an architect specialising in historic and church buildings, has kindly offered his services on a pro bono basis. He is currently preparing plans to enable us to prepare a project plan in order that we can raise the necessary finance to make this a fine facility for the use of the whole community.
We are realistic that this is a major task that we are taking on, but the trustees know that once completed, Yaxham will have a further facility to offer to the benefit of the many groups in the surrounding population.
This page will keep you posted with the progress of work and activity which will be taking place
An enthusiastic team has already started work on the initial aspects and requirements leading up to grant applications. If you would like to be a part of restoring this important part of our village’s heritage please contact Peter Smith 01362 696 555. We will be needing all sorts of skills and expertise, so please don’t hold back.
